VINTAGE YEW WOOD LONGBOW - WOLVERINE ARCHERY TACKLE -

Listed is a vintage 'Wolverine Archery Tackle' wood long bow. I believe bow is make of yew but I am not positive. Bow is 64" long. These old wood bows probably should not be pull back or shot as many of them will break. I'm selling this as a wall hanger. I have included a new flemish splice string. It does appear to be a well made bow. There is a large chip, about one and one half inch long on right side of upper limb. See last picture. Decal on bow says Wolverine Archery Tackle, Coldwater, Michigan, Make by Kibbe, est. 1918. It is stamped 36, I assume that is the draw weight. I will include a new flemish splice string. I did string bow and chip does not seem to effect it. Both limbs are straight.
