You are bidding on a large "Sunbonnet Sue" hand applique embroidered quilt top.
This beautiful quilt top needs some TLC.  The border has been cut in certain places.  I have no idea why it was cut. This consists of 6 pieces, 2 end panels, one center piece with 3 panels, and 3 single pieces.  One of the panels seem to have been cut at the border  and the bottom. The other panel is good. This may be rescued as is, or by removing the squares from the border.  The 35 squares are in very good condition with only a couple minor stains.  This quilt top is worth rescuing because of the exceptional needlework.
It would measure, finished, about 84" x 68" while the squares measure 11 1/2" - 12" finished, with a 1/2" seam allowance around.
It was shot on a queen size bed as well as on a rug.  Please enlarge the photos.
