US Navy Cougar Jet Tin Friction Toy Folding Wing Fighter Airplane ETCO Japan

This auction is for a vintage ETCO Japan tin friction toy US Navy Cougar fighter jet with folding wings. This rather scarce friction airplane seen better days but still displays nicely. The fighter jet shows scratches & rust on the nose of the plane, and the front wheel has been soldered on. The friction mechanism works and the wings fold up & down beautifully. There is a pilot in the cockpit but the window is fogged up. This is still a very nice vintage toy. The fighter jet measures 8.5" long by 7" wide by 3.5" high.
