Description

You are purchasing Longarm Quilting of YOUR lap / twin size quilt top.
Up to 63" x 77"
Quilting is done on an Innova Longarm Quilter w/ 12 ft. table
You ship the quilt top & backing - folded separately
The shipping you are paying is for me to ship the quilt back to you
I will provide the batting unless you want to provide a specific type of batting
If you ship your own batting, I will deduct from the cost of the quilting
I provide either cotton batting or an 80/20 cotton/poly blend (your choice)
I highly recommend the cotton/poly blend - you get the warmth of the cotton and the durability of polyester
Put one safety pin at the top center of the quilt top
I do edge-to-edge quilting ONLY
There are multiple quilting designs for you to choose from as well as several colors of thread.
I get new quilting patterns every month
I use Essential Pro Thread. It is a polyester thread that looks & feels like cotton
Price does not include binding - I will send it back trimmed and edges basted, along with the trimmed off backing fabric
2-3 week maximum turn-around. If you have a specific deadline, I will make every attempt to meet it - ASK FIRST BEFORE BIDDING
Include a note with your quilt top specifying the quilting design and thread color you prefer. I can help you with this
I can also advise you on selecting a batting, if you need help

Please note that due to the current situation, lots of people are staying home making quilt tops! This has pushed my normal turn-around time from 2 weeks to about 4 weeks.
Preparing your Quilt Top & Backing:
Top needs to be complete and ready to ship when you bid
Make sure it is "square" and does not have wavy borders - needs to lay flat
Iron the top & trim all threads - make sure all seams are secure
Backing needs to be one piece (ironed) that is 6-8 inches larger than the top on ALL 4 sides
I will not guarantee a border on the back side to be completely squared.
Please make sure there are not multiple seams on the backing. This will increase the possibility of puckering.
If you send batting it needs to be 4-6 inches larger than the top on ALL 4 sides
I have been making quilts for over 40 years and will treat your quilt like one of my own. I know the work you have put into making the quilt top!
