large collection 10+ very very old antique Japanese dolls -mache, pine needles, bisque, cloth etc, some on wooden stands, one is a little newer that is on a wooden stand (still OLD)
they appear to me, an untrained eye, to be an important historic collection, some are in nice condition but resoration is needed with others, there are a few stains on cloth areas,  couple heads are loose, a few fingers missing and checking on the largest oldest doll, some chipped spots etc. I figure the best thing is for someone with experience in restoring these dolls do so rather than my trying to do anything, they need to be properly safely displayed, possibly
even museum collection. I have zero experience or personal knowledge, please use your personal knowledge when deciding to bid on them, they are sold as is
I purchased this collection at an estate sale, I have zero knowledge of usage, ownership, home conditions, environmental conditions, prior owner's habits, pets or other history, The family didn't know anything about them except that their grandmother had them as long as they remembered, They had been tossed into a cardboard box where I found them, they are sold as is. Out of fear of further damage I have them individually wrapped in tissue and in a styrofoam cooler for shipping. They need to go with FedEx since the post office handles everything with zero consideration.
