    Description

    This bow was produced for the Colt Firearms company.  Research showed that they sold bows from 1962-1967.  It is Commander model 56" curved fiberglass longbow.  It has a 45 lb draw weight at 28" and has the original Colt grip.  Colt did not make bows themselves.  They contracted it out to two companies, Ben Pearson and Wing (Bob Lee).  The site I found stated that you could find the Bob Lee bows because they had the Hartford, Conn stamp on them. This and three other bows I'm listing came from an estate sale recently.  At least one definitively dates to the 1960's.  They all look to be fairly well used, but not abused and would make great display items.
