    Description

    This listing is for a Japanese Ichimatsu Gofun festival doll, circa 1925. She has a soft padded body with flexible joints at arms and thighs. She has her original paper underwrap.
    Her head is moulded from a composition material, brown inset glass eyes fixed and then the entire head is covered in tinted Gofun. Her eyebrows and lips are hand painted. She wears a mutli patterned silk crepe Kimono with long padded sleeves. She has her original cord tied obi sash. She has gofun covered hands and feet. She is in gently used, has a few nicks and dings; she has holes in her ears but no adornment there; and she is not pristine.
    She measures approximately 17” high.
