    set
    is in exquisite vintage condition with no scratches, cracks or chips.
    “The Blue Danube Onion pattern was inspired by a similar pattern created during the Yuan dynasty (1260-1368 A.D.) in China. It represents the design variation attributed to the German artist Kandler. The flowers in the Blue Danube pattern depict the ancient Chinese symbols of good fortune and happiness. The original design, with some variations, made its way to Eastern Europe, where it has been produced for approximately 200 years."
    It is signed Blue Danube Japan on the underside.
