Classic old Geisha / Maiko c.1890 - 1910s this extra tall doll has the most extravagent silk clothign we've seen. She also carries and hand wrapped gift in one hand as well as a paper fan with bakelite handles that actually opens. She wears a light metal hair ornament with old silk flower on her silk head. She has black lacquer Geta on her feet. TRULY THE BEST OF THIS GENRE' WE'VE EVER SEEN. Fit for any collection from advanced through museum grade and it has NO RESERVE !
