Up for sale is a Antique Book Dictionary Music Stand LA VERNE W NOYES Chicago Illinois Iron Metal!!!  This is a super cool antique dictionary stand from the mid 1800's or so.  This thing was literally sold for .25 when it came out at the time which blows my mind!  It is definitely more expensive now, but this thing was built to last!  This one is in good shape overall, being fully functional and still working just fine.  Please note that the mechanical aspect of this does all work as intended, but it is a bit difficult to open the left shelf side and it needs some assistance on the metal part to get this to open.  Otherwise everything works perfectly.  This stand is extremely solid and has general signs of wear throughout which is expected of an antique item like this.
The base is designed really well, and basically the four feet just fold in on themselves.  They clinch together when upright to hold the metal bar that holds the rest of the stand in place, so it is adjustable with how high or low you really want it.
Can be adjusted from heights of 28" at the lowest up to 38" at the highest.  It can probably go a bit higher or lower but these measurements felt comfortable.
Folded out, the wood stand measures about 22" across but this can also be adjusted for larger or smaller books.  The tilt may also be adjusted to however you'd like it.
Altogether, it weighs in at 8 pounds, 13.9 ounces total.
