JANUARY 1864 ISSUE OF GODEY’S LADIES BOOK & MAGAZINE Missing the front cover but with profuse illustrations of ladies and children’s clothing at the height of the Civil War. 105 pp. 10" X 6 1/2". Includes a double page hand colored fold out of fashions. With other profuse ladies and children's garments. With other illustrations including an Italian Villa and a sleigh ride. Has all pages and leaves except it’s missing the front cover and probably a couple of pages of advertising in the front. The back cover has light soiling and is frayed. Has an ad in the back for Carte De Visites of Civil War Generals and an ad for a Wheeler & Wilson sewing machine with picture. May be excellent guide to making clothes for Civil War re-enactments.
